What's up Fogbox Backers?
These days have been full of lots of new ideas in the office and continuously working with our fulfillment center on the delivery of the Fogbox.
We've got great news!
The units will be ready to ship out next week as they are assembled and packed with quality care. We've got hundreds of orders that we have already placed that are being sorted out. The task of delivering the packages is now in the hands of our shipping carrier who we've worked with before.
We can't wait for you to receive the units. Depending on your location and the amount of time the shipping carrier takes to ship out batches of orders, you should receive your package at the latest by the end of September of early October.
Included in the package will be instructions that we've created to help make your Fogbox experience easy and enjoyable!
Here's a sneak peak! This is also a sure fire way to ensure that you'll have access to a copy of these instructions if you ever misplace them!

Growing Kits & Shipping Update!

Hey Fogbox Backers!
You’ve been the best backers we could have asked for. Thanks for being patient and believing in our product and our ability to deliver!
We’ve been working on different options for growing healthy plants in the Fogbox and after careful testing, we’ve settled on the growing kits we mentioned in a previous update. We are going be using biostrate (Micro-veggie kit) and offering the cloning kit as well.
This process may take some extra time and because we want to provide you the best product we can, we do not want to rush the process.
These kits will require about 30 days for production, and following that we expect packaging to take 1-2 weeks, before it’ll be on its merry way to you all!
We know it’s a bit extra time, but we can’t wait to see how creative you get with the Fogbox once it is all good to go and delivered to you!

Hey Everyone!
We'd just like to remind you to go in to Backerkit to edit your addresses if you entered a PO box, since we cannot ship the Fogbox to P.O. boxes anywhere in the world (Sorry, we wish we could!)
If you entered a PO box for your address in Backerkit and have yet to send us a new address or receive confirmation that it's been changed, then please make sure to do so as soon as possible. You can update your address HERE

Growing Kits!

Hey Fogbox Lovers!
Throughout the product development and testing process, we have found that micro-veggies grow the easiest in the Fogbox.
Since we’ve discovered this through testing, we will be including a packet of broccoli sprout seeds in your package.
We’ve found that broccoli seeds work best as compared to basil seeds, but we are still giving you a small packet of basil seeds that you can grow in your garden. Splicing a plant is the second best method we recommend. You can do this very simply by cutting a stalk of a plant and inserting it into the 1cm thick white seed pads.
Growing broccoli sprouts
The container arrived at our fulfillment center last week. It will take about 2-3 weeks to order seeds and pack them in bags. We are working to make sure that all the details are taken care of and that we do enough testing to ensure that your seeds will grow successfully! Our fulfillment center partners are working to pack up these additional micro-veggie kits we are giving you.
We have developed 2 different growing kits:
Micro-veggies Kit: You will be receiving a thin, brown micro-veggie pad that holds more water which will allow for effective plant growth. To use it, you simply sprinkle seeds on top after you test to see if the pad is moist.
Testing out different seed pad materials
Cloning Kit: Using the cloning kit, you can clone or splice your plant. We recommend using mint, basil or any other plant that can be spliced. The cloning kit includes a thick, white sponge that has 9 slits in which you can directly insert your spliced plant.
Testing out growing methods
The clay pebbles that we are including in your package as promised, are not really needed for your plants to grow, rather it is simply for aesthetics. We recommend that you do not put the pebbles under your growing pad, but use it only for aesthetics after you grow a spliced plant.
We will be including detailed instructions for use in an upcoming update and in your physical package so that you will be able to setup and use your Fogbox with ease.
